On Friday, April 26, 2013, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm Beyond Borders will host a Spring Challenge fundraiser at Jake’s American Grill at 5018 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008.
Come out for a good time and a great opportunity to support Beyond Borders’ Child Protection work in Haiti!
Beyond Borders is raising funds now through the end of April as part of our Spring Challenge: No Child a Slave campaign. If we can raise $35,000 by April 30, every dollar will be matched! All proceeds go to the creation of Child Protection Committees in 10 Port-au-Prince neighborhoods where thousands of children are trapped in child slavery.
Event details:
-There will be some free food, the first 10 people will get a free drink, and the whole event will include happy hour drinks for $4 each!
-Admission is $10 at the door and 100% of the proceeds will go to Beyond Borders.
-Attendees will also have several opportunities throughout the evening to learn more about our Child Protection work in Haiti.
This is a perfect way to relax from a long week and support a great cause!
