We see in Haiti the seed for a new world, where all children grow up surrounded by people who love, nurture, and educate them, and women and men find more power by balancing power.

Ending Child Servitude

One in eight children in Haiti is living in domestic servitude. To end the practice permanently, we’re addressing root causes like extreme poverty and lack of access to quality schooling. We’re also organizing adult survivors and grassroots leaders to protect every child. Since 2010, leaders like Louisemene have freed more than 720 children and prevented thousands more from becoming trapped in servitude. Watch her story to see the courage and determination she brings to this work.
