Community Activists

Our Community Activists make up the core of Rethinking Power’s work. These 23 men and 23 women are working every day to bring Rethinking Power and its message of equality to their communities through a variety of platforms, including discussion groups, dramas, printed materials and simple conversations with friends and family. In addition, religious leaders, health workers, media personnel, women’s organizations and other groups conduct activities in their own circles. These  Activists have engaged thousands of activities in the communities. The Power Paper Exercise is just one example of how they begin the process of change in their communities. In addition to organizing these activists, each month the Activists meet together for reflection, skill-building and event planning.
