Invest in Haitian-Led Liberation

Since 1804, Haiti has stood as a defiant beacon, its history forged by an unyielding spirit of self-liberation.

Our work honors that living legacy by fueling the proven, grassroots movements fulfilling the work of freedom.

Join us to end child slavery, prevent violence, and build lifelong self-reliance from within.

Because Childhood Can’t Wait. Why?

1 in

Haitian children
are currently trapped in the restavèk system, a form of domestic slavery (servitude) where children face hard labor, abuse, neglect, and are denied education despite promises of care.1

1 in

Women and adolescent girls in Haiti experience some form of physical or sexual violence before the age of 18, often rooted in deeply entrenched gender power imbalances. This crisis is now surging due to widespread insecurity and gang brutality.2

Over

Million people in Haiti
are facing acute food insecurity, struggling against systemic economic barriers that deny them the work and basic resources needed for their families to flourish.3

Why Haitian-Led Change Works

In Haiti, parents face heartbreaking choices. They are often forced to weigh the agony of a hungry child against the risk of sending them away—only for that child to fall into a cycle of domestic servitude. Others must decide whether to endure an abusive partner simply to keep a roof over their family’s head. For many, the risk of speaking out creates a trap of silence and isolation.

This is where liberation begins. By standing with local leaders, your gift helps Haitians end child slavery, prevent violence, and escape the cycle of poverty. We don’t just treat the symptoms; we invest in proven, Haitian-led movements that address the root causes.

Beyond Charity: HOW Your Gift Contributes to Liberation in Haiti:

  • Ending Child Slavery
