This Sunday, at 5:30 pm at The Coupe in Washington, DC, join us in hosting renowned author/activist Beverly Bell for a signing of her latest compilation, Fault Lines: Views Across Haiti’s Divide. In it, Bev “offers rich perspectives rarely seen outside Haiti.Readers accompany her through displaced persons camps, shantytowns, and rural villages, where they get a view that defies the stereotype of Haiti as a lost nation of victims.” Please join us in welcoming the New Orleans native to DC! Bev is also the founder of Other Worlds and a long-time activist of grassroots change in Haiti.
