At a recent gathering called Communities of Hope: Advancing Human Dignity and Development for Sustainable Futures at the United Nations Plaza, Sister Limétèze Pierre-Gilles, Assistant Director of Engagement for Beyond Borders, shared how community-led movements are advancing human dignity and sustainable development in Haiti. Her address highlights the vital importance of walking alongside local movement leaders to tackle interconnected challenges—from child protection and gender equality to poverty alleviation.
